IDS consists of 3 separate Divisions.....
IDS-RESEARCH
.... The Idea Generator; an "R+D think-tank network"
that functions as a "Design Nursery" specializing
in Conceptual Designs. The creative, flexible, right-brained
environment within IDS-Research sparks a constant storm
of ideas. This powerhouse of thought takes ideas and
concepts through a process of creation and documentation.
IDS-R does not simply erector-set solutions; hiding problems
by adding on "fixes" as is common, instead
it takes a problem down to its essence and solve it at
its source. This means that IDS-R does not focus on parts,
but on methods and processes.
I believe that simpler is better and that "the
best solution has the fewest parts". IDS-R is driven
to create technology that will bring significant benefits
to our quality of living.
IDS Research has spent years preparing a "war-chest"
of ideas to fuel the commercialization stage of the
work. When an idea is ready for market then the technology
is transferred to IDS-Development.

IDS-DEVELOPMENT
.... The tech-transfer company for IDS Research that
brings innovations into the marketplace. IDS Development
is the“left-brained” structure whose purpose
it is to introduce, develop and market IDS technology.
IDS-D's mission is to develop strategic alliances with
partners for the development, manufacture and distribution
of IDS technologies, through the licensing and sale
of embodiments focused on specific applications.
The goal of IDS Development is to develop itself and
the technologies that flow through it into self-enabling
profit-centers.

IDS-CONSULTING
IDS-C provides innovation consultation, working hand-in-hand
with clients and their Engineering, Marketing and Design
Departments. IDS-C helps "select partners" refine
their technologies, solve problems and build ideas.
IDS Consulting can provide Conceptual Design guidance
and/or solutions and function as "ghost designers"
for companies in a strictly confidential environment.
